Since there's a Blue Netspend Visa card designed for boys, there's also a pink version designed for women and teenage girls. It shares the same features as the standard Netspend card, but it has a shiny pink finish. Just like the original Netspend Visa prepaid card, this version is super-easy to get. Just head on to the official website and apply in a few minutes. You won't have to provide any credit score checks, so you can get one even if you have a bad credit score. The Pink Netspend card will allow you to make money transfers, receive direct deposits, and get paid two days faster than through a standard check. It works similar to a bank account, giving you full control of the spending. The Netspend App will give you a few tips on how to manage your money, and you'll also get a map with the nearest to reload station. Currently, there are over 130,000 reload locations across the US, with new ones jumping on board every day.

Our Take
Who Is This Pink Netspend Card For?
Although the NetSpend Visa Prepaid Card allows you to fully customize how it looks by adding your own photo, the Pink Netspend card is the perfect choice for women with bad credit scores. The card works similar to a bank account, allowing you to receive deposits, make transactions, and pay your bills through the complimentary app. So, if you don’t want a standard bank account, this card is a great alternative. Since you don’t have to provide credit scores from any of the three bureaus, all you have to do to get one is to complete the easy online application process. You can also get this card at local retailers like CVS Pharmacy and Walmart, but that will cost you around 10 dollars. Once you get the card, you can receive paychecks 2 days earlier.
Pink Netspend Visa Card Benefits
When we’re talking about benefits, the Netspend visa card has few big pluses you should consider.
- Instant approval. First, you can apply for it no matter what your credit scores look like. The application doesn’t require credit card scores, making it an excellent choice for people with bad credit.
- Checking account alternative. It provides you with similar features you would get from a standard checking account, including receiving and transferring money, getting direct deposits, getting paid directly to the card, and so on.
- Budgeting app. It’s also a great choice for people who want to keep a close eye on their spending. You can only spend the money you previously deposited, and there’s a complimentary budgeting app that will allow you to check your card activity at any time. You can even set up a text notification system that will give you reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. That way, you’ll always know how much money you have available. The app we mentioned earlier will also give you a map of the nearest cash reload places if you run out of funds.
- Referral bonus. Refer your friends or family members and get rewarded.
- ATM withdrawal. You can withdraw the money on any ATM, bank, or spend it on paying for services and products. The only features you have to be aware of are the fees that are not very steep, but they can add up and eat through your savings rate if you’re not careful.
- Wide reload network. When you run out of funds, you can reload the card in over 130,000+ locations across the US. You’ll also get cash back rewards in a network of retailers, and the money will be sent to your account whenever you make a purchase.
Are There Any Disadvantages?
- 2 plans to choose from. While this is a very useful card for people with bad credit scores and those who don’t own a bank account, it does come with a lot of small fees. You’ll have to pick your plan when applying for the card, and each of them comes with different fees, so take your time before you decide. If you pick the Monthly Plan, you’ll have a fixed fee that you have to pay every month. On the other hand, if you get the Pay-As-You-Go plan, you’ll pay a small fee every time you use the card. But that’s just the start.
- Many fees. The card comes with all kinds of fees that could set you back for a lot of money if you’re not careful. These fees include an inactivity fee, a closing fee, a reloading fee, an ATM withdrawal fee, a card decline fee, online bill paying fees, and a few other fees as well. You’ll have to pay for something pretty much every time you use the card. Sure, anyone can get the Netspend card in 10 business days, but that comes at a certain price you’ll have to pay.
Should You Use This Card?
If you’re looking for a visa card that doesn’t require any credit score checks, this one is an excellent choice. It works similar to a standard bank account, allowing you to send and receive money, pay bills, and pay for products and services online and offline. It’s not the best option if you’re looking for a card to rebuild your bad credit scores, as it doesn’t impact them in any way. However, if you’re a parent with a couple of college kids, this card is an excellent method for limiting their spending. The budgeting app also provides a few tips and tricks, helping them learn how to spend money better. See Netspend Visa Debit card Review.
