The AAA auto club has announced the launch of a new Visa card issued by Bank of America. The AAA Triple Points Credit Card is offering triple reward points on qualifying travel and AAA purchases and double rewards on gas, grocery, and drugstore purchases.
The credit card seeks to focus on vehicle safety and repair, with generous travel and AAA discount rewards. The card has no cap on the number of points earned.
The AAA Triple Points Visa Card from Bank of America offers cardholders a variety of choices when it comes to redeeming their reward points. Points can be exchanged for vouchers toward travel or auto repair costs.
AAA Branch Vouchers are valid for purchases at any AAA branch, including travel services while AAA Approved Auto Repair Facility Vouchers can be used for vehicle repairs carried out at any AAA approved facility. Another popular option is to cash in 5,000 points in exchange for a 1% cash back reward on the credit card account.
Some of the other options include electronics, sporting goods, travel on major airlines with no black out dates, hotel stays, car rentals, gift cards for more than 100 different retailers and restaurants, merchandise, and experience days including Nascar Pit Crew days and Joe Montana Winery trips to name just a few.
The card also offers some attractive bonus rewards. Making the first purchase within 90 days of opening the account will provide an extra 2,500 bonus points.
Some of the additional features included as cardholder benefits are access to a 24 hour concierge service and a $500,000 travel accident insurance policy. Cardholders can also purchase fee free Visa Travelers Cheques from AAA offices nationwide.
The card carries no annual fee, no cash advance fee, and a very competitive interest rate. As the card is Visa branded, it can be used almost anywhere worldwide.
The AAA Triple Points Card is considered to be one of the most robust reward cards currently available. If you are a frequent traveler then this could be a card worth looking into. The generous double and triple point rewards are higher than points offered by most typical reward card or cash back programs and are not only limited to an introductory offer.
If you intend to make purchases daily using a credit card, it would make sense to use one which rewards highly for purchases of everyday costs such as groceries and gas.
